FATHER’s WILL WILL NEVER SUPERANNUATE

“Nothing is forever but dreams are, we don’t have to chase them, they follow us”

I know it’s nothing special
Still I write
Not for the world
But for our sight
Not for appreciation
My emotions alight
I pen them down all
While my pains delight
I wonder if it is in my blood
A talent that I can’t fight
Who bestowed it upon me If not you?
When you whistled and I opened my eyes
Father! Do you remember…
When you first took me into your arms
And measured my size!

I know I was bigger than your palms on that first touch
May be that day it got transferred
I am lost and words in my search
They conspire together to rhyme
Verses follow them in no time
It feels great that it is in my blood
It feels great that I am your blood
It still flows inside of us
I wish you to write again
The way you wrote whatever I am today!

Happy Retirement and Congratulations on the occasion of a new beginning i.e. to live in peace with your leisure pursuits!!!!!!!!!!
